Adequate stay near Galata Tower

congested area street noise
The breakfast area was quite congested. Tables were too close together. Refills were slow. I often had to wait for coffee. the street noise was noticeable, especially early in the morning. Light sleepers should bring earplugs.

The rooftop breakfast was a highlight. I made sure to have a drink there each evening. The front desk staff provided Excellent service. Their friendliness and professionalism were excellent. It was some of the best service I have experienced.

The breakfast on the rooftop was AMAZING!!! It offered a fantastic view. The staff was very helpful. The building had a charming, historic feel.
The elevator broke down several times. I found myself squeezing between dirty dishes. The street outside was VERY noisy. I also found the sound-proofing was poor.
